Creative Industries Festivals Grant Scheme 

For who?

Cultural institutions or organisations that organise festivals with an important public function within the context of the Dutch creative industry.

For what?

The preparation, organisation and implementation of festivals that contribute to increasing the public reach and interest in and development of the creative industry, namely in the fields of design, architecture and/or digital culture.  

How much?

Grants range from a minimum of €35,000 to a maximum of €85,000.   

How and when to apply?

The Creative Industries Festivals Grant Scheme holds one application round per year. The next deadline is 8 October 2025. See the Creative Industries Fund NL website for information about deadlines, a detailed guide and the official scheme document.   

Your application must include a project plan, schedule and budget. The Creative Industries Festivals Grant Scheme contains a list of all the required documents. Applications are assessed by an advisory committee. Decisions are made within eleven weeks of the closing date.

Good to know

Festivals that take place in the Dutch Caribbean do not need to meet the minimum public reach requirement.
